DESCRIPTION:The Compound Rockwall\n\nLTC Certification Class\n\nThe instruction portion of this course is designed for a minimum of 4 hours to a maximum of 6 hours.\n\nThe proficiency demonstration can take an additional 1   2 hours contingent upon your current level of proficiency with your handgun/revolver. This time period is in addition to and separate from the instruction portion of the course.\n\nYour instruction will include the four required topics:\n\nUse of Force\n\nHandgun Use\, Proficiency and Safety\; including use of restraint holsters and methods to ensure the secure carrying of Openly Carried Handguns \n\nNon-Violent Dispute Resolution\n\nProper Storage Procedures for Handguns\n\nA light lunch\, snacks\, and beverages will be provided during the course of instruction.\n\nUpon completion of the instruction\, you must pass a written examination with a score of at least 70%. Rest assured\, all information will be covered and clarified prior to administration of the written examination.\n\nUpon successful completion of the written examination\, you must demonstrate proficiency with a semi-automatic handgun or a revolver and achieve a passing score of 70% (175).\n\nNO LIVE AMMUNITION IN THE CLASSROOM!!!\n\nRequired Items:\n\n.22 Caliber Handgun or Larger\n\n50 rounds of ammunition for your handgun\n\nEye and Hearing protection\n\nBaseball cap / Headgear\n\nCollared shirt / T-shirt / Button Up Shirt (No V-neck shirts)\n\nShoes than completely cover your feet (No Sandals)\n\nTX Driver's License\n\nWe can provide assistance with the submission of your Texas LTC application.\n\nWe can also provide expert advice regarding the type of handgun for you to acquire and that would best suit your personal protection needs.\n\nWe have a FFL licensee on staff who can assist with the acquisition of a handgun either before or after your LTC certification.
