At Right at Home Rockwall, we're dedicated to being much more than a simple home care company. We are a navigator of what comes next for seniors and adults with disabilities. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for those we serve. That means it's always about the people we support, and our dedicated professional teams working tirelessly to provide compassionate, highly-trained care for our clients. I am passionate about helping the elderly and their families navigate the complicated journey of aging. During my studies at Cal State University, Fullerton, I found my passion in Gerontology amidst personal challenges with my aging mother and balancing the demands of the sandwich generation. My education enabled me to address our family’s issues effectively, covering finances, health declines, and end-of-life planning, improving our caregiving experience. After earning a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Gerontology, I advanced my studies with a Masters from the University of Southern California. Now, as a Case Manager and Gerontologist experienced in various forms of dementia and senior care settings, I dedicate myself to assisting the elderly and their families in managing the complex process of aging with comprehensive, personalized care plans aimed at aging with dignity.

I love Rockwall; the Downtown, the Harbor and food scene are blessings, but the people make this place home. Working with local non-profits like Helping Hands, Meals on Wheels Senior Services and Kiwanis Club connects me with great volunteers and those in need. I enjoy working with the Rockwall Chamber of Commerce, the City of Rockwall and the Downtown Rockwall Association to help our community keep its small, family friendly atmosphere alive. My wife Marinda and three kids love the Texas sunshine and southern hospitality. After college, I went to Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon, Wisconsin to finish my formal eight years of training to become a pastor. I graduated WLS in May 2016 with a Master of Divinity degree and was assigned to Divine Peace Church Rockwall.

I worked in public education for 35 years with the last 10 being superintendent of Chisum ISD.  Following my retirement, I changed my career path to become a Financial Representative with Modern Woodmen Fraternal Financial. 
A quote I live by happens to be the creed of our company, “There is a destiny that makes us brothers (or sisters), None goes his way alone; All that we send into the lives of others comes back into our own.”  Edwin Markham, circa 1939.  My goal is to continue to be a well-known name in the areas we work for helping people either with financial planning or through our fraternal efforts.  I enjoy spending time with my husband, 3 children and spouses and 8 grandchildren.  We currently have three Bed and Breakfasts and a 37 space RV Park.

I have been in the educational field for over 20 years and hold a doctorate degree in education. I love to teach and share knowledge with others. Many years ago, after a long, unexplained illness, I discovered the power of energy healing and began my journey to learn and share this modality with others.

I hold certifications as a Reiki Master/Teacher, a Crystal Reiki Master/Teacher, a Ganapati Level 4 Siwa Murti healer, an Emotion Code practitioner, and an Animal Reiki Practitioner. All offerings may be in-person or virtually for both humans AND animals. I also offer IONIC Foot Spa Detox cleansing sessions for one or two individuals at a time and Solfeggio frequencies tuning forks. 

Jerry Welch is a REALTOR® with Ebby Halliday in Rockwall, where he has lived since 2013 with his wife of 51+ years, Nicki. They moved from Plano to be near their grandchildren, Brady and Landry, and love being actively involved in their lives.

Jerry is deeply committed to community service. He graduated from Leadership Rockwall (Class of 2016 – Best Class Ever) and participated in the Rockwall Citizens Police and Fire Academies. He served six years on the Planning & Zoning Commission, chairing the City's Comprehensive Plan. He has also been on the Advisory Board of Women in Need.

Currently, Jerry serves on the boards of the Rockwall Chamber of Commerce, Rockwall Noon Rotary, and as President of the Rockwall County Rainbow Room. He also volunteers as a Life Group substitute teacher at Lake Pointe Church, always striving to serve God and his community.
